Mad About St. Patrick's Day

Join Worcester for its community-wide celebration, which features floats, bands, color guards, clowns and boosters of Irish heritage. The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at noon on March 12, 2017 at Park Avenue Between Mill Street & Highland Street in Worcester.

Mad About Beer

The Guinness Celtic 5K takes place March 12 at 11 AM, before the Worcester St. Patrick's Day parade, and ends with after-parties held at Worcester's best Irish Pubs and local restaurants.

The following weekend, head over to Great Wolf Lodge for a St. Patrick's Day Beer Dinner hosted by Wachusett Brewery. Not only will there be a full course meal with each dish paired with its own beer; you'll be entertained by Irish music and Irish step dancers.

Mad About Theatre

March 11 - 12, visit the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts for Shen Yun, a cultural performance that people are calling "A mesmerizing performance! Reclaiming the divinely inspired cultural heritage of China." and "5,000 years of Chinese music and dance in one night!” — The New York Times.

Mad About Music

Burton Cummings, former frontman of The Guess Who, will rock Mechanics Hall in Worcester on March 12 at 7PM. Beside a wall full of gold and platinum records, Burton's long list of awards includes two inductions into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, two stars on the Canadian Walk of Fame, and membership in the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.
