On Valentine’s Day, spend your day from morning to night enjoying every ounce of romantic culture in Worcester. Learn about Worcester’s involvement in the Valentine’s Day culture. While some credit Esther Howland as the Mother of the American Valentine, the Worcester Historical Museum digs deep to discover the truth behind Valentine’s Day in Worcester. In addition, the Worcester Historical Museum celebrates the Valentine’s Day tradition with a display of local children-designed, Valentine’s Day cards. Take a guided tour and embrace the Worcester history with the one you love.

Connect The Heart and Art

Art and love are one at the ArtDater event hosted by the Sprinkler Factory. With a mission to connect the heart with art on Valentine’s Day, this free event is about emotions, feelings and seeing what’s inside the heart – literally. As part of the event, there will be the official “Breaking of the Piñata Heart Ceremony,” encouraging art lovers to participate in the symbolic breaking of the heart to reveal what is inside. Beyond the heart-breaking ceremony, over 50 artists will display their work, with music by Future Tropicale Sound System and Valentine’s themed hors d’oeuvres.

Movie, Cash Bar and A La Carte Desserts in a Beautiful Setting
