Bring your valentine to Steel & Wire for a fun, low pressure trivia night with prizes awarded to top teams. Sip a cold beer, a glass of prosecco or a cocktail while you compete across a range of categories. Follow Steel & Wire on social and keep an eye on their stories each Tuesday for an extra bonus question that could put you over the top. Tuesday Trivia begins at 8 p.m. with no cover charge.
Galentine's Festivities at Redemption Rock Brewing Co.
Gather up your girl gang, throw on your comfiest outfit and get cozy at the Redemption Rock taproom on Feb. 11. Start your day with an hour of yoga, courtesy of Jen Songer Yoga. Then, stick around for the always-delicious @buttered508, who will be popping up with fresh biscuits from noon to 8 p.m. You can also shop the wares of three local, female-owned artisans: @birchousebotanicals' soy candles, @hyggehousebooks and artwork and planters from @eightpointfivedesigns.

Join fellow gals and pals for an afternoon of sweets, mocktails, music and crafts—featuring desserts from Bri’s Sweet Treats, wine glass decorating, book page bouquets and pincushions (for those in an anti-Valentine state of mind). This event is for the 18+ crowd, in the Saxe Room of the Library.
Love Your Library Valentine's Party
The Library celebrates the launch of new, limited edition library cards on Feb. 13—and this is your chance to get a new card with one of three updated designs from the Library Card Design Contest. Make a keychain, and fill out your own valentine to show just how much your library means to you. Get a WPL lanyard, while supplies last. All ages are welcome, in the Main Library Pappas Children's Center.
Love the Wine (& Cheese!) You're With at Canal District Wines
Canal District Wines, the beloved bottle shop and tasting room in Worcester Public Market, invites guests to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Love The Wine (And Cheese!) You're With. A perfect pre-or-post-dinner activity, the event features four wines hand-selected to pair with cheese provided by Smith’s Country Cheese. Join the team on Feb. 14 at CDW with 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. seatings. Reservations are required, as space is limited, and available on Eventbrite.
CDW also makes a convenient Valentine’s Day pickup location for flowers arranged by Bell Brook Farm & Floral Design Studio. Lovebirds can preorder an arrangement on Bell Brook’s website for pickup in store at CDW on Feb. 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. “We love Valentine’s Day,” say CDW’s wife-and-wife co-owners, Rachel and Livy Scanlon. “That we can celebrate the day by partnering with two other women-owned businesses makes it all the sweeter.”
Free February at Worcester Historical Museum
Worcester Historical Museum is spreading the love of Worcester history, thanks to sponsor Bay State Savings Bank, and offering free admission and events through February at 30 Elm St. and Salisbury Mansion. There’s plenty to explore at the Museum for guests of all ages and interests. Free gallery visits and programming include educational “History Bites,” a WHM Curator’s favorite artifacts, Black History Month programs, school vacation week hat-themed crafts and History Detectives scavenger hunts.

Head to Hardwick to celebrate Valentine’s Day/Galentine’s Day with friends, new and old, in the Winery's timber frame barn with a locally sourced five course wine dinner. On tap: the culinary creations of Chef Peter Ryzewski, led by Sommelier and Wine Educator Missa Capozzo.
Course 1 includes a welcome glass of Hardwick wine with a fresh butter board. Course 2 features spicy Sicilian eggplant, course 3 a savory artichoke and burrata tart, course 4 a blueberry braised lamb and course 5 a chocolate raspberry trifle. This event starts promptly at 6 p.m. Guests may arrive early for a pre-event glass of wine, but no walk-ins are accepted during this evening.
