Spartan Race Comes to Massachusetts Summer 2017

Posted: February 15, 2017

The Spartan Sprint may be the shortest of the races but by no means the easiest. Fitting over 20 obstacles in 3-5 miles will challenge your body and your mind. The race comes to Rutland Massachusetts June 17-18, 2017.

Are you up for the challenge?

This race is perfect for the seasoned Spartan (can you beat the fastest time of 40 minutes?) and for first timers looking to get a taste for what the Spartan races are all about.

Set in the beautiful natural paradise of the Treasure Valley Scout Reservation in Rutland, Central Massachusetts, you'll be wowed by the 1600 acres of challenging terrain.

Exploring The Area

Plan to stick around and explore the area. Just a half hour from Rutland you'll find the quaint town of Hardwick and the amazing Quabbin Reservoir - the largest man-made reservoir in the country.

Start your day off with fresh baked items from a traditional french bakery, stop for lunch at the winery, and take a hike at the reservoir for a day trip to remember. Our article, 12 Hours in Hardwick, will help you plan your day.
