Summers are for Camping!

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kick-off to the glory of summer days and some of the best places to camp are right here in New England, especially Central Massachusetts. Cold fresh-squeezed lemonade coupled with the views of majestic waters are only but a few benefits of camping in Central Massachusetts. Here are our top six choices for a tranquil and scenic camping getaway!

Sutton Falls Camping Area – Sutton, MA

Located in scenic Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor,  Sutton Falls Camping Area offers a quiet, peaceful, family camping ground with a covered bridge (that's great for photo opps!) and a private pond. Boat rentals are available to explore Lake Manchaug and there are great indoor amenities like the game room filled with planned activities and laundry. The site features newly renovated yurts (glamping, anyone?), a general store, and a pavillion for seating. Close to Southwick’s Zoo, Breezy Acres Picnic Grounds and Waterslides, Purgatory Chasm State Reservation, and Mendon Twin Drive-in, camping at Sutton Falls is the perfect weekend getaway. Outdoor World – Sturbridge, MA
