Restaurant Week Returns to the Sturbridge Townships in April

The Sturbridge Townships – one of the hottest dining areas in Central Massachusetts – has lined up eight diverse dining spots for this year’s Restaurant Week, April 12-17.

The area’s best restaurants will offer three-course menus for a fixed price of $15 for lunch and $25 for dinner, in addition to their regular menus. Cuisines, from traditional New England comfort food to sensational seafood, specialties of the Greek isles to authentic Italian, will satisfy every taste.

The Chamber of Central Mass South is very proud to announce this year’s lineup of participating restaurants:  Avellino, Cedar Street Grille, The Duck, Fins & Tales, The OxHead Tavern at the Sturbridge Host Hotel, The Publick House Historic Inn, Sturbridge Seafood, and Zorba’s Pizzeria & Tavern, Charlton.

Visit the Restaurant Week page on the Chamber’s website,, to find information about the event including links to the restaurants and the specially selected three-course lunch and dinner menus for this much anticipated culinary event. Check the hours on the menus and feel free to call ahead for reservations. Restaurant Week offers cannot be combined with Groupons or any other offer.

Besides the opportunity to experience several different restaurants in Sturbridge, Southbridge, and Charlton, diners will have the chance to wine, dine and win throughout this special week by entering the Restaurant Week Raffle. Each time a dining party participates in Restaurant Week is another chance to win one of several prize packages that bundle dining gift certificates with entertainment, lodging, retail gift certificates and/or local services. Among these fantastic prizes kindly donated by Chamber businesses are overnight stays at Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center, Old Sturbridge Inn & Reeder Family Lodges, Comfort Inn & Suites Colonial and The Publick House Historic Inn, and valuable gift certificates to Fins & Tales, Table 3 Restaurants (Avellino, The Duck, and Cedar Street Grille), The Publick House, Klem’s and B.T.’s Smokehouse! Ask your server for details on entering the raffle during Restaurant Week.

“Our region is blessed with several wonderful dining establishments. We’ve become a true dining destination,” said Alexandra McNitt, executive director of the Chamber. “This is our way of inviting people near and far to get outside, celebrate the arrival of spring on one of our many hiking and canoe trails, and cap it off with a great meal. The drawings give people still more chances to stay and play in our area.” Enter each time you dine out during Restaurant Week for another chance to win.

Restaurant Week opens on Monday, April 11 at The Duck, The Oxhead Tavern, The Publick House & Zorba’s. The remaining venues are closed on Monday and will offer Restaurant Week specials beginning on Tuesday, April 12. See individual participating restaurants at for menu specifics. Check the hours on the menus and feel free to call ahead.

We hope you will join us as we celebrate spring and another grand season of dining out during Restaurant Week 2016, which is generously sponsored by the Sturbridge Tourist Association. Bon appetit!
