About Apple Tree Arts

Apple Tree Arts is a vibrant nonprofit community music and theatre school and venue dedicated to enriching our communities through the arts by providing high-quality performing arts education and experiences for all ages, identities, and abilities.

Founded in 1989 with two early childhood music classes for parents and toddlers in Grafton, MA, the program has expanded over the past three decades to not only include Musikgarten classes for children 0 to 9 and their caretakers, but also youth theatre productions & classes, private instrumental & voice instruction, music ensembles, songwriting workshops, summer arts camps, community chorus & theatre for adults, a community concert series, & more. Along with these programs held onsite, ATA also provides music education classes to 20+ area preschools and daycare sites, including grant- funded classes for 400+ children from low-income families at Head Start, the YMCA, and Rainbow Child Development Center.
