About Canal District Food Tours

Go on a Canal District Food Tour and become a Canal District insider as Lori guides you through the sights, flavors, and history of this buzzing, transforming area.  In about three hours, you’ll indulge in substantial and delicious food tastings from at least five locally-owned food stops. Food stops typically include: BirchTree Bread Co., TableTalk Pie Store, El Patron, Bay State Grill, The Queen’s Cups and Steam Energy Cafe.

You’ll do more than eat though.  In less than a mile of easy walking, you’ll also connect to the hard-working people at each food stop.   Then, in between food stops, Lori also connects you to the Canal District’s history as only a local can. No canned lectures, promise.  She’ll even share some Canal District trivia that only a local would know.

The Fidelity Worcester Ice Center generously offers Lori’s tour customers free parking.  The tours run every Saturday morning at 10am. Starting and ending at the Ice Center. Private tours for business outings/conference options are also popular.  Weekdays can be arranged. Just contact Lori. Information below.
