About Dennis H. Rice Community Plaza

The Community Plaza is an open-air gathering space looking over the Mumford River and the Mill falls. A variety of annual events take place here including the Free Summer Concert Series, Alternatives Valley Friendship Tour, the Annual Art & Music Makers Festival, health and wellness fairs, and the Valley Bag Toss. Each summer, the Worcester Shakespeare Company calls the Plaza home, performing shows on an Elizabethan-era stage erected in the space.
