Emerging as one of the top attractions and centers for business more than three decades ago, the DCU Center continues to thrive as the focal point of the city’s Innovation Corridor in downtown Worcester. Owned by the City of Worcester and managed by SMG, the DCU Center is a multi-purpose venue comprised of a 14,000-seat arena and attached Convention Center, featuring panoramic views of the city’s skyline. In addition to hosting a wide array of concerts, sporting events, family shows and conventions, the DCU Center is available to rent for trade shows, private banquets, meetings and competition space. 
 
CONFERENCE & MEETING SPACE 
The DCU center has 100,000 square feet of exhibition and display space. The square footage includes a 50,000-square-foot Exhibition Hall and an 8,000-square-foot Swing Hall. Along with the Exhibition Hall, there is an arena floor, which is 30,000 square feet and an arena concourse consisting of 12,000 square feet. Lastly there are two ballrooms and nine meeting rooms.

The DCU Center is conveniently located in downtown Worcester.  
 
RESTAURANT ON SITE 
Figs & Pigs Kitchen + Pantry is an urban micro-eatery attached to the DCU Center in downtown Worcester. The chef-inspired menu rotates seasonally, based on what ingredients can be locally sourced. It features unique salad creations, soups made from scratch and eclectic sandwiches prepared on artisan slow-rise breads from Concord. Serving both breakfast and lunch with the best drip in town, the fast-casual counter service is perfect for a quick grab-and-go meal or a place to catch up on email, meet up with a friend or enjoy your surroundings in the emerging innovation corridor of downtown Worcester.  

SPECIAL EVENTS 
The DCU Center hosts a variety of concerts, sporting events, family shows, conventions, trade shows and more.  
 
IMPORTANT NOTES 
In addition to 88,000 square feet of contiguous exhibition space and the largest ballroom in Central Massachusetts, the DCU Center provides the following amenities and attractions. It includes two ballrooms, two lounges and 11 meeting rooms. The DCU Center also attached the restaurant Figs & Pigs Kitchen + Pantry to its six-suite arena. The arena and the convention center each have their own fully equipped box office. The DCU has in-house catering and permanent portable concession stands. The communication is sophisticated, and the utility services are located on 30-foot centers. The electricity is 120, 208 and 480 voltage. The air is compressed, and voice, video, CATV, telephone and data communication is provided. The satellite has downlink capabilities, and there are also adjustable lighting levels. There are also three access doors that offer direct entry for large semis and other equipment onto the exhibition hall floor.
