In 1791, Colonel Ebenezer Crafts planted the tall magnificent elm trees which shade the Publick House today. These amazing trees surround the Publick House and Sturbridge Common keeping Colonel Crafts' spirit alive.
CONFERENCE & MEETING SPACE
Publick House Historic Inn and Country Lodge has 10 meeting and conference rooms that can host up to 300 guests. Paige Hall is the largest of the indoor spaces.
ROOMS
Publick House Historic Inn has three suites and 14 guest rooms. The Chamberlain House features 12 suites and eight guest rooms. The Country Lodge offers 63 guest rooms. In addition, there will be complimentary coffee and pastries with all of the accommodations.
RESTAURANT ON SITE
Public House Historic Inn features traditional New England-style dining and true Yankee hospitality. Come and relish in the ambience of our Historic Tap Room or Ebenezer's Tavern while enjoying a delectable meal from our expansive menu and complementing your entree with one of our specialty drinks. Our chef has been loyal to the traditional favorites, while also expanding the selections to include modern twists and a gluten-free menu. Sample lobster mac and cheese in Ebenezer's Tavern, paired with a clean, fruity chardonnay. Enjoy the pan-roasted salmon course in our Tap Room, and finish with the delicious old-fashioned, deep-dish apple pie. Both restaurants offer their own unique vintage-inspired atmospheres. Don’t forget to visit our bake shop at the end of your dining experience.
