Come join us at the Worcester Columbus Day Parade on Shrewsbury Street at 12:30 pm on Sunday, October 8, 2017! The parade start point is at the corner of Aitchison Street and Shrewsbury Street and ending at Washington Square near Union Station.
The Worcester Columbus Day Parade is an annual Italian tradition which delights the community as well as the City of Worcester. The Worcester Columbus Day Parade is a time to honor and celebrate our Italian ancestors that despite extreme adversity, prejudice, and suffering upon arriving in this country, showed determination and strength to not only build successful lives for themselves and their families, but also to contribute in building a strong and successful nation that honors and respects people of all nations.
"Family" is the key word of this event. The sole mission of the Worcester Columbus Day Parade Committee is to plan and present a family oriented event, as we welcome all community groups and organizations to participate. The Worcester Columbus Day Parade Committee is a non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer organization. The Worcester Columbus Day Parade Committee reserves the right to select participants that demonstrates the family goals.
