Art is defined as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination. These classes are designed to get you started with various art media to build your creative skills and encourage you to use your imagination. Led by Artist Suzanne Hauerstein, these workshops are intended to be fun, informative and inspiring. Each class will explore a different artform such as fiber arts, painting, collage, or printmaking. We provide all the materials needed for you to experiment and have fun. In this workshop, students will use butterfly specimens as inspiration to learn drawing and watercolor painting techniques to create a beautiful butterfly painting. Color theory and brush techniques will be explored.
