Tom Grady: 100 Views of Worcester
This ambitious series of small oil paintings depicts with pride and love Worcester’s everyday vistas, buildings, and streetscapes. As a 300th anniversary gift to the City, the entire series goes on view during the last half of May in additional downtown venues, including the Printers Building, the Jean McDonough Arts Center, and the YWCA. The event will kick off with a reception at The Hanover Theatre's Franklin Square Salon (second floor), complete with refreshments and an artist talk by Tom Grady. The artist will be present at each location:
11:00 AM-12:00 PM - Hanover Theatre, 2 Southbridge St.
12:00-1:00 PM - JMAC, 20 Franklin St.
1:00-2:00 PM - YWCA, 1 Salem St.
2:00-3:00 PM - ArtsWorcester, 44 Portland St.
The walking tour is self-guided. Audiences do not need to be present at the reception to view artwork at the other sites.
Free and open to the public.
