Colleen Fitzgerald's "Stamina"

Date: February 2, 2018 - March 2, 2018

“Stamina” is an exhibition of photographs by Present Tense Prize winner Colleen Fitzgerald. The Present Tense Prize, awarded annually, recognizes a regional artist whose work incorporates new technologies and artistic risk-taking with excellence in execution. In her works, she manipulates film both pre- and post-exposure into three-dimensional shapes, blurring the distinction between sculpture and photography.

On that same night, two other exhibits, the Fourteenth Annual College Show and “Sojourns” by Ann Rosebrooks will be celebrated. Refreshments from deadhorse hill. Music by WPI JazzGroup. The artist’s reception is open and free to all. Parking one block up in the lots belonging to Masons, at Ionic and Beacon Street.

Snow date will be one week later, Friday, February 9.

The exhibit runs through March 2, with gallery hours on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 12:00 to 4:00PM, and by appointment. Fitzgerald will give a public artist talk on Saturday, Feburary 17, at 2:30 PM.

Thank you to the donors whose generosity supports the Present Tense Prize.
