About the Concert
Cosmic Dualities explores a multitude of instrument combinations of playing as duets in a variety of forms.
This concert is free and open to the public. Bring your own "brown bag" lunch or purchase one at the Hall while they last!
Program
The first piece of the Festival is a world premiere by local composer Leonardo Ciampa, a Festival Fanfare for Dueling Antiphonal Trumpets, Organ, and Timpani.
This will set the stage for the vibrant and refreshing music being presented, which includes:
Vivaldi Concerto for 2 Trumpets (organ & timpani),
Handel Arrival of the Queen of Sheba (2 pianos, organ)
Bach Sheep May Safely Graze (2 recorders, strings, organ)
Saint-Sa ëns The Swan (2 pianos, violin & cello duet, organ)
Bach Prelude in C (violin & cello duet, 2 pianos, organ)
and a collection of favorites for two pianos and organ:

Carmen Overture
Confrey Kitten on t he Keys

The finale is the Concerto for Two Pianos & Organ: Fantasie by American composer Demarest.
