Using his signature style of spontaneous drawing and printmaking techniques, Syrian artist Kevork Mourad will create the site-specific immersive installation Memory Gatesduring a residency at the Cantor Art Gallery in February. The work, imagined as a series of doors and passageways that visitors can pass through, will explore themes of cultural plurality and collective memory.
Co-sponsored by the Cantor Art Gallery and Arts Transcending Borders
