Landscape of Central MA with Instructor David Long

Date: October 13, 2018 at 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Presented By: David Long

CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS SPORTS PRIMARILY ROLLING HILLS, WOODLANDS AND FARMS. WHILE NOT AS WELL KNOWN AS SOME OTHER AREAS OF THE STATE, IT HAS A GREAT DEAL OF SCENIC OPPORTUNITIES AROUND THE RESERVOIRS, STATE PARKS AND HISTORICAL SITES. IN THE FALL, THESE LANDSCAPES COME TO LIFE.

Beginning at the Wayside Inn Grist Mill in Sudbury, a historic and working flour mill, we explore some of the most photogenic landscape subjects of central, MA, including the Wachusett Aqueduct, and the Sawmill of Moore State Park. We conclude the day at the majestic old stone Church, a fantastic spot for capturing sunset over the reservoir.

This workshop is separated into two parts: morning and afternoon sessions. You can choose to photograph and learn for the whole day, seeing everything this area has to offer with professional guidance. Or, you can opt for either the morning or afternoon sessions, as workshops unto themselves. This workshop will require driving from location to location.
