Music Worcester's 2017-2018 is bookended by fabulous musicians with Lincoln Center in NYC! Pianist Wu Han and cellist David Finckel, artistic directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, along with Emerson String Quartet violinist Philip Setzer, will bring a performance of Beethoven and Schubert to Worcester, on May 10, 2018 at 7:30, in the jewel box of Worcester's Tuckerman Hall. PROGRAM Beethoven - Trio Op. 97 Archduke Schubert - Trio in Eb, Op. 100 The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, (CMS) is one of eleven constituents of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the largest performing arts complex in the world. The Chamber Music Society has its home in Alice Tully Hall – the finest hall in the world for chamber music. Through its performance, education, and recording/broadcast activities, it draws more people to chamber music than any other organization of its kind. The artists of CMS comprise and evolving and unparalleled roster of performers, some of whom have been presented by Music Worcester in past seasons.
