Live Caterpillar Show

Tower Hill Botanic Garden will hold its annual Live Caterpillar Show on Saturday, Aug. 19, and Sunday, Aug. 20. This popular event is presented by Same Jaffe, a naturalist, biologist, photographer, and educator, who operates the Caterpillar Lab in Keene, N.H. Jaffe and his team of assistants bring a range of caterpillars - from familiar to bizarre - with them to help teach the public about these fascinating creatures. There will be opportunities to get up close with caterpillars you might find throughout New England if you know what to look for. The Live Caterpillar show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 19 and 20 and is included in the price of admission. Also included is access to Tower Hill's trail system, formal gardens, education center, and more. Many visitors enjoy spending time at the Live Caterpillar Show and then exploring Tower Hill's landscape where summer blooms are in peak form.
