It is a group exhibition of students’ and the instructor’s work from SAORI Worcester weaving studio. SAORI weaving is an improvisational, contemporary art form from Japan. Its philosophy is based on the Zen principles of spontaneity and self discovery. This exhibition showcases their practice of SAORI weaving expressing themselves from the hearts. It features a variety of work woven by about 20 artists. There are many wearable items along with long banners, wall hangings, scarves, pillows, and handbags. Most of the work are for sale.
