The Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra  under the direction of Principal Conductor Myron Romanul presents an admission-free Independence Holiday Weekend "Patriotic Pops Concert" on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at 7:30PM in Worcester's Institute Park, 82 Salisbury St.  Vocal Soloists are soprano Jane Shivick and tenor Todd Yard. Rain date is July 4. Repertoire will include patriotic and pops selections by such well known American composers as Irving Berlin, Aaron Copland, Morton Gould, and John Williams, among others.  The concert will conclude with Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever. Myron Romanul is a Grammy Award winning musician. Ms. Shivick and Mr. Yard are two of this area's most in-demand vocal soloists.  The Massachusetts Symphony Orchestra has been performing free summer concerts in Worcester's Institute Park since 1951.  For more information, visit the orchestra's website at or call (508) 754-1234.
