Besides bees, what does 'pollinator' bring to mind? What about native bees, bats, moths, and butterflies? Pollinators play important roles in our ecosystem, from food production to the growth of beautiful blooms. Did you know that pollinator-friendly plants can also be water-friendly? Learn how your own backyard can support pollinators and local stream quality at the same time. This workshop will introduce you to some native polllinators, teach you how to recognize them, and provide some pointers for encouraging sustainable design in your own backyard for a healthy, beautiful, and functional landscape. Registration is required. Register online or call 508-753-6087 to register by phone. Fee: $5 Mass Audubon Members, $8 Mass Audubon Nonmembers
