New England's Future 4

Rivera Promotions Entertainment will showcase some of the best young boxing talent in their latest New England's Future 4 event. Jose Antonio Rivera, a 3-time world champion boxer, actor and Worcester native, will be hosting this next historic event here at the DCU Center.

Rivera has starred in films such as The Fighter with Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale; Little Accidents with Elizabeth Banks, Chloe Sevigny and Josh Lucas and The Game Plan with Dwayne The Rock Johnson. As a pro boxer, Rivera won the IBO Welterweight World Championship and WBA Welterweight World Championship. In 2006, he took the WBA Junior Middleweight World Championship in his hometown of Worcester, MA.

Today, Jose Antonio Rivera runs a promotional company with his son, Rivera Promotions Entertainment, to help foster and promote the careers of local fighters.
