Sunday, March 4 3:00-4:00 PM Mechanics Hall 321 Main Street, Worcester Free admission (reservations suggested) Tracy Kraus, flute; Krista Buckland Reisner and Peter Sulski, violins; Mark Berger, viola; David Russell, cello; Randy Hodgkinson, piano With guests Denise Plaza-Martin, oboe; William Kirkley, clarinets; Greg Newton, bassoon; Tony D’Amico, double bass; and Robert Schulz, percussion The musical fairy tale of the little boy who, with the help of a bird, a duck and a cat, outsmarted the big, bad wolf, is a favorite introduction to classical music for kids of all ages. WCMS musicians will perform the piece with narrator extraordinaire Rohan Gregory. In conjunction with Youth Art Month, drawings created by Worcester Public School students will be projected above the musicians to compliment the storytelling. Following the performance, the children are invited to meet the musicians and see the instruments up close.
