About the Concert
Peter Krasinski is an internationally acclaimed silent film live accompanist and will present classic organ repertoire favorites to demonstrate the majesty of this King of Instruments – the historic Hook Organ.

He will also feature a unique and updated version of Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” where each character in the story is a different pipe organ stop (trumpet, flute, etc.) and the audience not only hears the famous Prokofiev themes, but also learns to identify specific pipe organ sounds.

The concert ends with one of Mr. Krasinski’s famous silent film improvised 30-minute accompaniments, with elaborate orchestrations and harmonizations on the Hook to enrich the viewing experience of the film.
