Winter Birding at Plum Island 2019

Date: January 20, 2019 at 9:00am-5:00pm

Presented By: Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Center & Wildlife Sanctuary

Give 'snowbirds' a new meaning and explore the coast to experience birds that visit us in winter. We'll search Parker River National Wildlife Refuge and Salisbury Beach for snowy owls, northern harriers, pintail ducks, and others that can only be seen this time of year. Program includes short walks and is suitable for novice-to-moderate birders.

Storm date is Sunday, January 27. This van trip departs from Broad Meadow Brook Visitor Center. Bring a lunch, drink, and heavy snacks. Dress warmly in layers for moderate walking. Binoculars and your favorite field guide are recommended; we will have loaners and a scope.
Pre-registration is required. Register online or by phone.
