Worcester Schubertiade: Lehar's, The Merry Widow

Come to the Worcester Schubertiade for Lehar’s: The Merry Widow.  Lehar's delightful score of lush waltzes and beautiful ballads will captivate audience members during this fully staged presentation of The Merry Widow. The passion unfolds as the rich widow, Hanna Glawair, sets her eye on the one thing that has always eluded her - her first love.

Under the Artistic Direction of Metropolitan Opera Artist Sondra Kelly will be Jessica Jacobs as the Widow, Joshua Dixon as Danilo, Erin Anderson as Valencienne and Stefan Barner as Camille. The production will be sung in English with piano accompaniment and an ensemble of 20 singers from the Worcester area!
