Zoom into Poetry with Oliver de la Paz

The WCPA is thrilled to present a virtual poetry reading with two-time Pushcart Prize winner, Oliver de la Paz on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 3:00 pm. 

To join the event, please send an email to wcpaboard@yahoo.com by noon on the day of the scheduled reading. Put "RSVP Oliver de la Paz" in the subject line of the email. In the body of the email, include your full name, your email address, and the town of residence. The host will email you a Zoom link no later than 11:00 am on the day of the meeting. Click that link a few minutes before 3:00 pm, and you'll be ready to go!

Oliver de la Paz is the author of five collections of poetry: Names Above HousesFurious LullabyRequiem for the OrchardPost Subject: A Fable, and The Boy in the Labyrinth. He also co-edited A Face to Meet the Faces: An Anthology of Contemporary Persona Poetry. A founding member, Oliver, serves as the co-chair of the Kundiman advisory board. He has received grants from the NYFA and the Artist Trust and has been awarded two Pushcart Prizes. His work has been published or is forthcoming in journals such as Poetry, American Poetry Review, Tin House, The Southern Review, and Poetry Northwest. He teaches at the College of the Holy Cross and in the Low-Residency MFA Program at PLU.
