This years performing artist is Jessica Cabral, a Worcester native who was a contestant on 15 of American Idol!

The night wouldn't be complete without the annual tree lighting and entertainment from Sasha the Fire Gypsy, Snow Queen Stilt Walker and LED light performers.

Hop on a winter horse-drawn sleigh ride, let the kids get their face painted, and soak in the holiday spirit as Worcester kicks off the Christmas holiday and the official opening of the skating rink with the 2017 Festival of Lights.

Please note that Franklin Street and Front Street surrounding the Worcester Common will be closed from 3:00 p.m. until the end of the event on Friday. There are several parking garages and lots located within walking distance of the Worcester Common including those suggested here.
