About Mass Audubons Broad Meadow Brook


 As the largest urban wildlife sanctuary in New England, Broad Meadow Brook is a 400 acre oasis in the city of Worcester. Interpretive signs guide visitors along five miles of well-marked trails through woods, streams, fields and marsh. The Nature Center and several trails are accessible and our sensory trail creates a welcoming presence for a wide range of ages and abilities. Kids of all ages will enjoy playing in our nature play area.The diversity of wildlife habitats at Broad Meadow Brook make the sanctuary an ideal place for birders and nature enthusiasts who will delight in the many species of butterflies, birds, and plants that thrive here. Public programs, including summer camp, are offered for all ages and interests and the nature center is information-packed and features exhibits about the Blackstone River Watershed, energy conservation, native wildlife and more. FEATURES 
Set on 430 acres, Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary provides a unique setting for business meetings, workshops and social events. Access to the brook under shady, mature trees and 5 miles of well-marked trails provides an oasis in the city and an area to enjoy leaf-peeping, hiking, wildlife observation, and snowshoeing.  

SPECIAL EVENTS 
Available year-round, we offer a scenic, natural setting for weddings, family events, retreats and other gatherings. Spaces include a program and resource room indoors, along with a conservation center complete with a solar pavilion and picnic area outdoors. 

IMPORTANT NOTES 
Overflow and breakout spaces are available that include a deck, picnic area and lobby. Kitchen facilities are available at the rear of the meeting room and include an oven, sink, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, dishes and flatware. A PowerPoint projector, podium, conference tables and chairs, a large retractable projection screen, TV and wireless internet are also available. Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. A 20- by 40-foot open-air tent is available for use during warmer months.
