Mechanics Hall is the premier event venue and concert hall in Central Massachusetts. CONFERENCE & MEETING SPACE 
The Great Hall is 8,480 square feet and can accommodate 1,615 theater-style, 450 schoolroom-style, 600 banquet-style and 1,500 for a reception. Washburn Hall offers 3,871 square feet and accommodates 325 theater-style, 156 schoolroom-style, 250 banquet-style and 500 for a reception. Boyden Salon has 1,136 square feet and accommodates 100 theater-style, 45 schoolroom-style, 80 banquet-style and 100 for a reception. There are three additional rooms available for breakout rooms and smaller meetings.

The Hall is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 membership organization, owned and operated by the Worcester County Mechanics Association (est.1842). It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. 

IMPORTANT NOTES 
Every Mechanics Hall event is uniquely customized. Our clients choose their vendors – from caterers to florists to musicians or DJs – reflecting their own vision and budget.  

Each room offers open floor plans with unobstructed views, allowing endless configuration possibilities. The Great Hall offers an exquisite space for a wide variety of events, with its open dance floor, thrust stage, concert grand pianos, 3,504-pipe Hook organ and a full-range of on-site sound and lighting accents.  

Mechanics Hall is fully accessible and air-conditioned, and it features spacious catering spaces and modern green room facilities.  

To ensure brides are the center of our attention, we book no other events on a wedding day. All of our attention is focused on the bride, groom and guests, creating a wedding day to remember. From the early planning stages to the big event, Mechanics Hall staff is there to assist in planning every step of the way.
