About Salisbury Mansion

The Salisbury Mansion at 40 Highland Street is Worcester's only historic home museum. The home, built in 1772, has been restored to reflect life in Worcester in the 1830s.  The public is invited to learn about Worcester’s transition from an agrarian community to an industrial giant.  The Worcester Historical Museum now owns and operates the home, offering tours throughout the year and during the holidays. It is considered one of the best documented historic house museums in New England.
