Wachusett Mountain is a ski resort in located in the towns of Princeton and Westminster. With a summit elevation of 2,006 feet and a vertical drop of 1,000 feet, Wachusett Mountain boasts 26 trails over 110 acres.  While the longest trail, known as Balance Rock, is a mile and half, there are a wide variety of terrain for skiers of all abilities.  There are eight lifts, and three high-speed quad chair lifts (one of only three in the entire state of Massachusetts). 

The 38,000-square-foot lodge, cited for excellence in architectural design, offers a warm, comfortable atmosphere with exposed beam construction, a huge fireplace and sun decks surround the building.  The award winning building's heating system is unique, using a combination of waste heat generated by snowmaking compressors, passive and active solar heat and electrical back-up.   

EVENT SPACE
Wachusett Mountain is a venue unlike any other. This is a unique setting with outdoor and indoor venue options. The picturesque background will leave you and your guests in awe, as our excellent staff takes care of every detail. Wachusett is an ideal venue for weddings, trade shows, fundraisers, team-building events, corporate outings and meetings. 

The Maple Room is ideal for medium-size groups up to 140 guests. Located on the second floor of the base lodge, it combines all the comfort of the Mountain Suites with added space for larger gatherings and features vaulted ceilings and outdoor decks. 

Ideal for groups up to 80 guests, the Spruce Room offers a charming setting for small dinner parties, business luncheons or training sessions. Located adjacent to the Black Diamond Restaurant, the Spruce Room is available for day or night rental. Overlooking the mountain pond, it features a warm stone fireplace and hearth, vaulted ceilings and in-room service bar. Dining seating for up to 60 guests, Cocktail/classroom style for up to 80 guests. 

Located on the main level of the base lodge, the Granite Room is ideal for larger group outings for up to 400 people. Highlighted by the massive granite hearth and fireplace, the room is surrounded on all sides by spacious decks and large picture windows offering scenic views of the mountain and pond. For functions, the room can easily be set for banquets and receptions. It can also be transformed for classroom and theatre style seating. 

Mountain Suites (Slope SkyBoxes) are like having a Slopeside Living Room for your group at Wachusett. Located on the second floor above the Granite Room, Mountain Suites offer ultimate comfort and privacy with special benefits for you and your guests. Each suite features commanding views of the mountain with outdoor decks overlooking all the action on the slopes. Individual suites comfortably cater to groups up to 15 people. 

RESTAURANT ON SITE 
Black Diamond Restaurant is located in the base lodge and is open during ski season. 

SPECIAL EVENTS 
Winter services include lift tickets, equipment rentals, reserved parking, restaurant service and ski/board lessons. Spring/summer/fall services include chairlift skyride, clambake, barbecue, pig roast, lawn activities and climbing wall. Entertainers are available.
