About Worcester Railers HC

Founded in 2016, the Worcester Railers HC introduced a new way to be a part of professional hockey in North America when they began to play in the ECHL in October 2017 at the DCU Center. Taking its cue from the European sporting club model, Worcester Railers HC is more than just a game-night experience. Fans are members and partners of the team. On the ice, the goal is to bring a Kelly Cup Championship to Worcester. Off the ice, the team strives to serve as a national ambassador of Worcester by contributing to the local economy, enhancing the quality of life for everyone in Central Massachusetts, and developing a philanthropic presence throughout the community.

ECHL is the premier “AA” hockey league with 27 teams in 25 states and 2 in Canada.  Over 650 players from the ECHL have made it to the NHL. The Railers play 36 home games at the DCU Center from October through April with affordable family pricing.  Make sure to stop by Railers Tavern before and after the big game – located at 90 Commercial Street behind the DCU Center.
