About Worcester Youth Orchestras


Founded in 1947, the Worcester Youth Orchestras provides aspiring young musicians with orchestral training as well as fostering social development, community and life-long friendship. With 30 concerts each season, it attracts more than 8,000 concertgoers and enriches the cultural life of Central Massachusetts. With more than 200 families enrolled, WYO draws from over 65 towns and 72 school districts, representing the very finest talent in Central Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut and Rhode Island.
