Worcester Bravehearts
The Worcester Bravehearts are one of eight dedicated teams that make up the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL), a league local to New England. Opening night excites avid attendees on May 27, during which the organization will unveil a new Bravehearts Fan Wall just for them, featuring hundreds of fan photos and small business logos.
Following this night of all nights, the Bravehearts will generally play games Tuesday through Sunday each week until early August. Whether you go to the great unveiling with friends, organize a group outing with colleagues, or head to a mid-week game with the whole family, you’re in for an exciting experience! Worcester Red Sox (WooSox)
The Worcester Red Sox (also known as the WooSox) are Worcester’s own Minor League Baseball team. Like the Bravehearts, the WooSox typically play Tuesday through Sunday each week, although their season runs a bit longer, as it’s already begun and will run through the end of September.
While you’re bound to have a fun-filled night no matter what game(s) you choose to attend, you might find some of the WooSox’s special events particularly enticing: Aug. 6 brings a “Scout Night Sleepover,” where scouts enjoy a baseball-themed slumber party at Polar Park. And on Sept. 2, the WooSox celebrate “Pride at the Park,” honoring members of the LGBTQ+ community prior to the evening’s game. Be sure to purchase tickets ahead of time, so you can witness this colorful local celebration.

Massachusetts Pirates
Local indoor football team, the Massachusetts Pirates, were founded by Jawad Yatim in 2018. Ever since, they’ve called the DCU Center in downtown Worcester their home and are adored citywide. While the Pirates will be traveling all over the U.S. this summer to play against a variety of fellow league teams, local fans will have multiple opportunities to catch them at home between the months of May and July. For specific game dates and times, you can check out the Pirates’ website, where you’ll also find an array of ticket options and stylish merch to sport as an avid onlooker.
