Cirque du Soleil - Corteo running January 12-15

The much-anticipated and extraordinary theatrical event where one lamp and three wishes make the possibilities infinite... Ticket holder FYI: The Hanover Theatre's engagement of Aladdin, originally scheduled for November, has been rescheduled to these March dates. Any current tickets are still valid for the new dates. You do not need to obtain new tickets. 

The Moth Mainstage on April 13

In its 20-year history, The Moth has presented more than 20 thousand stories, told live and without notes, by people from all walks of life to standing-room-only crowds worldwide for uniquely funny, heartwrenching listening experiences. 


Mechanics Hall 

The Nutcracker Ballet | Evening Show on December 11

There's still time to snag tickets to this holiday spectacle, a beloved holiday classic. As a bonus, young audience members will be invited to meet a special Nutcracker character after each performance.

Comedian Bob Marley on December 28 & December 30

Polar Park & Fitton Field

Keep an eye on the WooSox schedule, whose opening day comes March 31. Tickets will be on sale shortly and games are a hot commodity around here. From hot dogs and Cracker Jacks to premium seating and stadium atmosphere, a day at Polar Park is just what the doctor ordered come springtime.

Elsehwere in Worcester, on Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field, The Bravehearts offer Minor League-style baseball excitement just off I-290 / Exit 11, and they've officially released their 2023 schedule. The schedule will feature 64 games, 32 of them to be played at Fitton Field. As members of the Futures League, the Bravehearts compete against nine other teams from around New England made up of high-level collegiate athletes on the cusp of being drafted by professional teams.

Ski Ward/Wachusett Mountain

Tickets to the mountain will satisfy any seasonal custoer, from ski bunny to master of the slopes. 

With a summit elevation of 2,006 feet and a vertical drop of 1,000 feet, Wachusett Mountain boasts 26 trails over 110 acres. While the longest trail, known as Balance Rock, is a mile and half, there's a wide variety of terrain for skiers of all abilities. There are eight lifts, and three high-speed quad chair lifts (one of only three in the entire state of Massachusetts). The 38,000-square-foot lodge, cited for excellence in architectural design, offers a warm, comfortable atmosphere with exposed beam construction, a huge fireplace and sun decks surrounding the building.

Minutes from Worcester and less than an hour from Boston, Ski Ward is open year-round offering skiing, snowboarding and tubing. Ski Ward is also host to the Slopeside Bar & Grill serving lunch, dinner, beer, wine and ice cream both indoors and outdoors on a patio with fantastic views. The mountain offers nine trails, four lifts and eight tubing lanes, a rental shop, and a snow school with more than 100 instructors teaching private and group lessons, multi-week lesson and vacation lesson programs.
